Empowering students with Project Space

The Stile team is very excited to announce the release of Project Space, available right now to Stile users.

What is it?

Project Space is a revolution in how Stile can be used in the classroom. With it, Stile’s powerful teacher interface for adding, editing and rearranging multimedia can now be made available directly to students.

While it was previously necessary for teachers to specify the type of response required to each question within a Stile activity (e.g. text, graph, drawing etc.), teachers can now simply pose a question or idea and allow their students to explore and respond with any combination of multimedia they choose.

Upon submission, teachers have the option to provide feedback on each piece of content the student has placed within a Project Space, as well as on the project as a whole.

How do we use it?

Project Space can be used in any Stile activity. Simply choose the Project Space content type from the content selector found at the bottom of all Stile activities.

Students will be able to create beautiful work using an unlimited number of any of our content types, in any combination, including:

  • Images and Videos
  • File attachments
  • Graphs
  • Mind maps
  • Tables
  • Sketch pads
  • YouTube videos
  • Rich text

Win an iPad Air!

To celebrate the release (and the festive season), we’re giving all Stile teachers a chance to win a brand new iPad Air. To enter the draw, simply send us your best Stile lesson featuring Project Space.  The winner will be announced on 16th December and will receive a brand new iPad Air 16 GB WiFi + Cellular valued at $749 in time for Christmas!

To enter:

  1. Create a lesson in Stile as you normally would, ensuring you’re using Project Space for at least part of it.
  2. Once you’re satisfied, add dearsanta@stileeducation.com as a teacher within the subject of interest.
  3. Email dearsanta@stileeducation.com letting us know which lesson you would like to enter and why.
